The Challenge
The University of Leeds, known for pushing boundaries in AV innovation, needed a futureproof solution for smaller meeting rooms. It had to be simple, inclusive, and deliver great audio and video quality in compact spaces.

After looking at solutions across the market and assessing these against room size and capacity, the Jabra Panacast 50 came out on top. It ticked all the right boxes:
• 180° field of view – captures everyone in the room without needing to crowd together
• Real-time AI video stitching – delivers a smooth, natural view using three built-in cameras
• Assistive listening support – lets hearing aid users stream meeting audio directly, making things more inclusive
• Room-aware audio – powerful built-in speakers automatically adapt to the space for clear, high-quality sound
The Rollout
The Panacast 50 was rolled out across multiple rooms across the whole estate. It’s now the standard solution for smaller meeting spaces—simple to use, consistent in setup, and ready to go for any user.
