Audio Visual Engineer
Universal AV Services Ltd, a leading supplier of quality bespoke AV solutions and services throughout the North of England to the corporate, education and public sectors is looking to recruit an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join its expanding Installations department at our Newcastle office.Role and Responsibilities
As an experienced engineer you will be competent in AV installations. Reporting to the project manager, you will have at least two year’s experience working within the industry or in a related industry and must be able to work on your own or as part of a team. A good knowledge of AV systems is essential. You will be required to attend our client’s premises performing tasks such as the installation of Multimedia Projectors, LCD/LED/Plasma displays, Room Control Systems, Video Conferencing Systems, Audio Conferencing Systems, Audio Systems, PA Systems, Projection Screens, Digital Signage Solutions, Induction Loop Systems, Interactive Whiteboards and Touch Screen Monitors, Kiosks, Rack Build, IPTV Systems, Lecture Capture Systems while working in a neat and tidy manner. Good communication skills and a well-presented appearance are essential. Working at height and the use of hand and electrical tools will also be part of your role. A valid CSCS card and PASMA certificate would be an advantage, but not essential.

AV Field Services Engineer
Universal AV Services Ltd, a leading supplier of quality bespoke AV solutions and services throughout the North of England to the corporate, education and public sectors is looking to recruit an experienced AV Field Services Engineer to join its expanding Installations department at Head Office in Bradford.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Deliver first class customer service and support as on-site service engineer
- Effectively Manage on-site repairs and add value in terms of technical competence from your extensive AV background.
- Problem Solve, Fault Find, Service and Repair AV Systems on site
- Ensure client has minimum downtime and communicate process
- Produce and maintain documentation and records
- Liaise with Installations and Project Managers
Education and Experience:
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar role – ideally from a electronics servicing background
- Good working knowledge of AV Systems and Control Systems
- Be able to demonstrate outstanding customer service
- At least 3 years in a similar role
